Background
The WHO Chest Radiography in Epidemiological Studies (CRES) project was established to renew the activities related to the WHO standardised interpretation of paediatric chest radiographs. This radiological definition of pneumonia is intended for use in epidemiological studies only and not for use in clinical care.

This website contains all material to support chest radiograph methods in the design and implementation of an epidemiological study. This includes information and tools for investigators, site staff including radiographers and research staff, and physicians and radiologists who are interpreting radiographs for a study.
